The Outside of my House
Hey, Kids! Here are some pics of the outside of my house...i live on the bottom floor...it looks kinda ghetto and it kinda is...but its growing on me...lisa lives in the upstairs one...but its kitty corner to me...youll notice theres an A.C. unit in the upstairs one...well thats because a group of auditors live there...and they only come down here from philly like three times a year...of course the teachers who are here all year dont get an A.C...why do teachers ALWAYS get the shaft?...anyways, theres a bunch of these units in a circle surrounding a pool...its called Freddy's Beach Government Housing...my students call it beverly hills...which sort of gives you an idea of what their houses look like...im hoping to show you pics of those soon...i cant wait to show you pics of the inside of my house and the ocean view and the melrose place-like circle of houses...but for now, this is all you get...at night my doorway is covered with frogs...so i have to watch my step, otherwise i might feel something squishy between my toes...lately, the weather has been beautiful...at night we get this cool breeze from the ocean, and on the sundays, when the whole island takes a nap after church, the waves are really relaxing...i could have slept for hours and hours last sunday...but i still have plenty of bugs and lizards to deal with...and now termites...yes, i never thought my furniture would have termites...but it does...
so i have had a really long day...im tired as heck...our sunday dinner with our friend's family was pretty good...she lives deep in the jungle...so that was hardcore wilderness...the dinner was good...and she had these two cousins that spoke no english but were kinda sexy...they were wearing their lava lavas...and me and lisa so wanted to see what was underneath...did i just write that?...sorry mom...the samoans and their lava lavas are startin to turn me on :-)
k, i gotta go...i guess my interesting thing for tonight is that lisa and i had to go to the hospital here to get our pills that will prevent us from getting elephantitus...the mosquitos here carry that disgustingly tragic disease...and its uncurable if you get it...how horribly scary is that?...but now that we took our pills we should be okay...lets all cross our fingers and pray for samoa joe...he doesnt want a random samoan virus...love ya and miss ya!

Ha! We so just painted our breezeway that color. we didn't like it and were going to re-paint but hey if it is the color of Joe's house...
so with the bugs and reptiles its pretty bad.but is anything else?its sounds like its,in a bug and reptiles way, geting worse but everthing else is getting better. but here nothing is different. p.s 1 week till shcool. miss you charlie
Miss you. I am getting to read all of your letters through Robyn. I saw your pictures. Love your skirt (and your boney knees). I had a letter written to you but after reading your blog I decided my life is really dull and why would Joe want to read about me reading my books. But I will write and I hope your doing well and i miss you. We didn't get to have our hug and kiss before you left but you're in my prayers every night and i miss you and will write soon. Keep well.
