We're Movin' On Up...

Hello, ladies and gentlemen...oh, and boys and girls...anyways, im sorry this post is not going to have any pics...i know pics are worth a thousand words...and so they save me from having to write a thousand words...but this is just going to be a quick post about our moving...

we're moving today (hopefully...its been like a monsoon out there for like the past two days...you guys dont know rain until you live in samoa...it pours sheets of rain for the ENTIRE day...not for an afternoon or a night...but the whole day...and everything floods...im surprised this tiny little rock doesnt sink into the ocean...lets all pray you guys dont suddenly see that news on CNN on some idle tuesday)...the house we're moving into is actually really nice...its like pretty...and we're both extremely excited...our house now is falling apart...with leaking fridges, flooded living rooms, and plagued with mice and bugs...did i tell you guys i saw a 12 inch long centipede...yup, you read that correctly, champ...A 12 INCH CENTIPEDE...crawling along my bedroom floor...(they're supposed to be poisonous and they like to bite!)...i killed it with my slipper (thats what they call flip-flops here)...im sure the new house will have bugs and lizards too...but its also next to a store...across the street from a tailoring place (much of the clothes here, like lava lavas, are made by hand)...and we have our own washer and dryer...and its closer to the main city and our school...its gonna be hella wonderful...the only bad thing is lisa and i have to live together...though we each have two rooms and a bathroom, im sure there'll be those days where we want to kill eachother...but most of the time, we really comfort eachother here...and we've learned to become best friends...maybe only because we're all we have on the island...and we sorta have to be best friends...or maybe just because we get along nicely...and vent beautifully...anyways, living with me can be difficult...so i wish lisa good luck :-)

so, i just wanted to give a quick post cause i dont know exactly when im going to get internet again...im confident itll be by the end of this week...diserably, itll be high-speed...did you guys see itunes lately?!?...oh, its heaven...they have music, tv shows, movies (new), audio books, and much more...i just hope the high-speed works okay down here...it probably wont...since its an island, and everything works like poop...im gonna get pics of the new house up soon, too...

k, bye you guys...love ya and miss ya...

p.s. we're planning to come home dec. 17 - jan. 4...mark the dates on your calendar...thats 18 days!!!...yay!...we have to take a week off of work...which is kinda scary and ill let you guys know of how our school reacts to that...but even though the both of us have only been gone for like 2 months, we still cannot wait to go home and see everybody and have extravagant places to go and do (remember, applebees and taco bell is luxurious to us)...we both really, really need it...like for our sanity...itll refuel us...and im gonna hug all of you like ive never hugged anybody...you might be scared...and breathless...and turning blue...but just let it happen...please...let me squeeze the life out of you...and attack you with my love...

p.s.s. oh, and im sending home a package by the end of the week...which means you guys will get it in like three weeks...its just gonna be the books ive read here (i just finished "A Sight For Sore Eyes" by Ruth Rendell...excellent book...scary and suspenseful and mysterious...the ending is a real page turner...and though there's surprises and shocks throughout the novel, its still all believeable and inevitable...and the characters are thrilling)...ill also put some of the crazy food they have here...probably just packaged food that youll find in all the stores...like shrimp flavored munchies...most of the food is from australia and japan...ill try to send some samoan food, too...im thinking ill send it to suzy and suzy will just divy out all the goods to my mom, sisters, and children...im gonna send suzy the books because she is a great student and actually reads them and reads them efficiently ;-)

p.s.s.s. shout out goes to the salter family this week...thanks for the nice package...and the secret decoder pics and messages...i felt like the da vinci code...so dark the con of man...bye!
